Start with a crimpy boulder problem, leading to better open-handed holds. Pump out left on an exposed rail traverse and bust over the roof onto the beautiful headwall. Fight through a final redpoint crux involving long moves on perfect sculpted holds. Take in the view, it doesn't get much better.

The route starts on very solid choss, but can feel sandy.  Climb through a thuggy roof that requires kneebars and crack technique.  Pull over the roof to a perfect sandstone face.  A not so hard mantel leads to crimps and a big move.  It’s really nice climbing.

Nice face climb in the corridor and finish just to the right of a tree.

At the end of the crack on Crack Of Dawn, follow face with two hangers to the top.

Very nice face climbing to the top. With a view.

Climb the right side of flake , then some nice face climbing to anchors at the top.

Some good trad through a hollow flake through a hanger and finish with some more crack climbing to anchors at the top.

Crux is close to the top. Very nice route. Less than vertical/slab. Arete is off, if you use arete its 5.10 and you might be a mandy pandy!

Nice and pumpy sport/trad Was featured on the cover of Climbing Magazine 1992, White arete. I was informed that a couple of years ago this route has went free.

Boulder up to a thin crack that splits a roof  and the face. Where the cracks stops move right and finish on the arete.

Traverse to the left to a horizontal, then to a ledge. Finish up left to anchors.

Climb short seam, with a right facing corner.   Finishes the same as Cuyahoga Falls.

Climb nice, but long tight seam through white face.

Good face climb that lives up to its name.

Start on obvious crack, then move left where the arete becomes more prominent and finish on arete past one bolt to the top.

Climb a nice thin vertical seam to the top.

Really nice area in Laurel/Snow Falls in Pocket Wilderness. On a huge point dividing the gorge. This Buttress has good sun most of the day. Rock quality is good. Has been awhile since some of the anchors have been replaced due to the access problems in in the past. Nice fall/winter sport crag. And some spicy trad. A lot of these routes are done with old school style in mind. A lot of these routes were started probably in 1977 with the likes of Rob Robinson and Bruce Rodgers. Then around the early 80's some other southern climbers came on the scene like James Dobbs,Ron Davis,Charles Kable, Shannon Stegg, Chris Chesnutt, along with Jeff Gruenberg and his hard line "Pieta" which might have very well been the first 5.14 in the southern realm. Later Rob Robinson and Glenn Ritter put more lines into play. Some of these routes are on the Point.
