this is an imtidating lead due to the exposure and the position you put your body in to get out the hanging chute in the very large roof.its not for everyone.

Tricky but fun climbing sequence. Start on ledges just to the right of the arête. Gain the arête by executing a diagonally raising traverse leftwards (1st crux). Climb to the alcove below a small roof (good rest). Pull the roof (2nd crux) and continue on easier moves up the arête. After the large roof, traverse right into dihedral above Laundry Chute and continue on easier ground to the top.

Orgasm is in the Bedroom Amphitheater west of Rainy Wednesday Tower. Start at the inside corner below the sizeable roof. Climb up the corner on 5.6 terrain. Under the roof, move to the wall on the right (facing west) and smear your feet up as high as you can, then reach for a left hand undercling in a shoebox sized notch. Once past the roof continue up the face to the top.

 The name, from Al Rubin:   It was so named due to the sound effects my friend Gerry made while struggling with the crux overhang on the TR FA -- in fact the actual name was Gerry's Orgasm, but we abbreviated it. The names of the routes added soon after on either side, seemed to follow naturally (assuming the guidebook would describe routes from right to left).

This route is between Miss Piggy's Pleasure and The Mezzanine. It is a pretty straightforward climb. Climb an inside corner up.

From the underside of the roof on Eave of Destruction, move left up and over (similar to Cul de Sac Exit).  Up face to capstone.  Grovel over this and continue up flake to a long move to finish.  Complete the effort on the left wall finish of Eave of Destruction.  Nice to have three distinct and different crux sections.

Start at the base of the steep face and climb the layback crack about 20 feet to a ledge on the right. Continue up a rising traverse left and up to the top.

Climb crack (lots of jams for me) until on the second small ledge. This is roughly where Resolution technically ends, I believe. From there, pass the overhang on the right. A variation (also 5.4) is the jam crack on the right and up some broken rocks.

#142 in the DL guidebook. This uninspiring climb begins at the corner to the left of Double Overhang and continues up the face to the ledge with the tree.

Fun climb up the arête. You start at one side and switch over at the first ledge, continue up the arête to some flakey rocks at the top. The hardest part is probably the initial start, rest is fairly basic.

From Sven, "Climb crack hidden, and jealously guarded, by a tree."  Start on the slab of New Light Waves, move into the corner, and climb the crack in the right wall with the tree growing just left of it.  The climbing is decent, but this is probably best as a lead climb because the tree can cause some difficulties with a toprope.

Follow the crack up to the ledge with a tree.  Continue up the crack behind the tree, until you reach the top!

Pretty much the same description for Balcony, but the inside corner is the next one over to the west towards the Lake.

Resurrection is a great face climb up the steep, long south face of Rainy Wednesday Tower.  The climb starts on a 15-foot block which overhangs slightly.  Get on top of this block and start up the right side of the face avoiding the corner to your right.  The crux is about ten feet above the ledge (on top of the block).  Very thin hand holds and feet get you up to slightly easier (though not much) terrain.  Follow the holds up and to the left, aiming for a big scoop in the rock below a large roof.  Go right around the roof, then move back left onto the face to finish the climb.  This is a great sustained face climb that you will look up at and wonder, "How did I get up that?"

a good 5.9 lead,i think there use to be more fixed pins on it but dale and i yarded them.

False Alarm Jam is on the east side of Rainy Wednesday Tower.  Climb up ledges to the obvious, steep crack.  Jam the crack with good jams to get over up to a nice ledge.  Ascend the final face to the top.

This is a dirty overgrown route that starts in the gully that separates Rainy Wednesday Tower from Bill's Buttress, continues through the saddle, past a huge chock stone, and finishes on the upper East face of the Tower. Early spring or late fall might be the best time to climb it when the leaves are off the vines.

 The Knower guide book lists this climb in the Rainy Wednesday section. The Swartling guide book lists this climb in the Bill's Buttress section and says you can climb either side of both overhangs (the lower one at the start, and the huge chock stone above.)

There is no real crux. The route if cruising all the way up.

At the start the climber can take  the face either side of the corner to gain the ledges at 20 foot mark or climb the corner strictly.  The climbing is bit harder on the corner strict.  Above the 20 ft ledge the story is the same but staying near the central rib is much more fun and sporty.  At about the 3/4 mark the climber is drawn onto the face left on broken but steep rock then back over to the steep arete on the right to gain the final left angling crack to finish.

Cliff's Coitus is aptly named since it is situated after Foreplay but before Orgasm.  Climb up the slab just right of Foreplay.  The crack of Foreplay is off.  Attempt to climb this line as a pure face climb.  It is a very enjoyable route with sustained thin moves all the way up.

A well protected route that's exposed near the top. Climb up the crack in the corner, exit left and up to a platform. Climb right onto "lemon squeezer" block then up into recess beneath the right side of the overhang (popular pigeon roost). Step left and up into the notch in the overhang, and then continue to the top of the tower. I've broken the climb up into 2 pitches sometimes (like on Jungle Jim) by setting a belay beneath the overhang. It eliminates rope drag and gives a second that's just beginning to follow trad to see what a belay is all.

Green Bulge begins at the base of a relatively flat slab of red rock a little east from Orgasm. After climbing the face up to ledge, climb up towards the small tower.

Yet another classic DL lead. Climb to the right of Orgasm. I seem to remember pretty good gear and a fixed pin (pin is gone now). Good luck and pull down, cut loose and throw up !@##

Ok - The route begins with a crack a couple of feet left of Cerebration. Climb it up a few feet and then go left to join the Second Coming crack. Continue up. The last part is to the left. The hardest part is the initial third.

Start at the northern (left) edge of the south east (left) face of Rainy Wednesday Tower. Climb up to ledge with tree and continue up face to the left of the crack in the roof. The upper portion is where the rating comes from.

Climb an outside corner to a dihedral. Couple of variations to get there.

Climb face just to the left of Second Balcony route and pass directy over the two lips or small overhangs.

near green bulge lies this gem. i remember killer moves and fuk-nes. i dont think this has been led ....yet.

The Rainy Wednesday Tower formation is located between the Leaning Tower Gully and Bill's Buttress.  The formation contains long climbs on good rock.  Popular climbs here include Double Overhang, Orgasm, and Foreplay.  You should arrive early to claim your climb when coming to this part of the East Rampart.
