8 It Grand

The most difficult route at this section or Arbor wall.  Climb up through nice pockets on the left side of the small cave ("the Smoking Lounge") and then continue straight up the face.  The crux lies between the last bolt and the anchors as the holds disappear.

Climb to the top of the small cave referred to as the "smoking lounge" and continue onto the face to the chains

The first bolt for this route is a little high, but climbing is mellow down low.  This route works left after the first bolt through good, fun holds.  Very good route on high quality limestone.

From the top of the boulder, step up across the 3-foot gap between the boulder and the wall. Use pockets, crimper holds, side-pulls, and a sloper. Crux is between second and third bolts, where some go left and some straight up.

Starts right of large tree near the wall. A bit spicy at the bottom and a bit confusing at the top. Runout to bolt 2.

Starts on ledge with strange underclings. Work your way up on crimps. Shares anchors with "Ferntasm" and "Left of Ferntasm."

Crux is between bolt 2 & 3.  It can be wet after a good rain.

This variation of Juniper starts on the water streak to the right of Juniper and eventually joins back up with the original line.

Climb the face just left of the water streak through easy pockets to a long deadpoint that marks the beginning of the crux.

This variation of Cliptomania keeps hands right of the boltline for a more challenging route that feels significantly different from Cliptomania.

Start as for Ferntasm, but head left to the first bolt.  Climb the slightly overhanging face past two more bolts to a great hold about 2/3 of the way up.  There are plentiful and interesting (albeit small) holds all of the way to the anchors.  Watch for the runout between the last bolt and the anchors.

Just left of Arborcidal Tendencies. Climbs the water streak. Originally rated 5.11b, but is significantly harder than the route to the right. Perhaps holds have broken.

Climb the dihedral behind the tree past two bolts to the anchors.  There is a great flake near the second bolt that is very positive and provides a good rest.  There is a healthy runout between the first and second bolts.

Stand on a boulder and clip the low first bolt. Climb the crux moves over the bulge, and then up easier but sustained 5.9 and 5.10a moves to the anchor.

Small holds lead over the bulging start and past the first bolt and then give way to easier climbing.

Starts to the right of "8 It Grand" under a bulge. Pulling the bulge is the crux.

Starts in a shallow and sometimes wet dihedral.  Climbs past some moss and other flora to an easy finish.

Traverses up and to the right through a series of large huecos, slots and ledges. Anchors are on the right of a small arete at the top of the cliff.

A direct line to the Arbortrary anchors. This is a bit harder, going over a slight bulge at the bottom.

Arbor Wall is located on the left (Dead Cats) side of Reimer's, and is the first major wall past Dead Cats and Rhetoric Walls.  A large oak tree keeps much of the wall in the shade, making it a good choice on summer afternoons when the rest of Reimer's is roasting in the mid-day sun.  There are about nine routes on Arbor Wall, all in the 5.10 to 5.11 range.  On the right side of the wall is a limestone "flow" (a steep gully carved by an old stream) that provides a quick scramble to the top of the cliff, and an alternate way back to the parking lot.
