If your name was Layton Kor, you would climb this route. It's sick.

Hey bro! Let’s smoke a bowl on the chair lift and ski the gnar! Do demanding moves to the chairlift ledge. Mantel onto the ledge, then sit on the ledge, and face the beautiful Weminuche Wilderness. Rest as long as you want, but you should probably shotgun a PBR. Move into the bouldery crux, and send the route. This was the first route bolted at The Powerhouse.

Side note: this route saw numerous ascents with tons of choss, but it stroke fear into everyone. Nolan trundled a massive ledge revealing a really cool boulder problem. Chairlift is a crag classic.

Snow Burners has hard boulder problems and a stout upper crux.

A crux right off the ground leads to a no hands rest, then you get a particularly savage bulge. This is sequential and demands finger strength.

This is the tallest route at the Powerhouse. From delicate to brutal climbing, this route certainly packs a punch and has lots of tricks.

This is one of the better 5.11 warm-ups with some mild crimping leading to some hard-to-see holds. Have some fun up there!

A heinous boulder problem leads to fun techy kneebar climbing to a big ledge, followed by a final thin section of climbing to the anchors.

Technical stemming leads to a tricky to clip anchor.

This is one of the best routes on the entire wall. It has excellent flowing movement, a long power endurance section, and both powerful and technical cruxes.

It's there, not quality, but it is a rock climb.

Start by ascending a slightly tricky face to a stiff, three move crux involving a heinous deadpoint to a pinch below the anchor.

Safe and chill, this would be a great first lead! You can't see the last bolt from the bottom, but it's there. This climb is actually fun!

Intro 5.12 climbing leads to a debatably savage crux. This has 4 bolts.

Peace has a hard crux off the ground, chert crimps.

Snowshoes has a confusing sequence of steep, bouldery trickery to a slab. It gets the name snowshoes for a reason! I think of it as a riddle.

Power endurance moves lead to a hard crux.

There is an impressively techy and hard to solve crux on this route.

An easy boulder problem off the ground leads to brief, easy, chimney-like section then steep climbing on good rock. This has a sustained crux at mid-height.

I used a left kneepad.

This is the go to warm-up. It has big, powerful moves on big holds to a tricky slab section before the anchor. There is also a link-up from this into

The beginning starts with a V5/6 boulder problem. It’s a little chossy, but you will survive. You get a good rest, then climb a tricky V4 boulder problem. Then the last 3 bolts are 5.12 climbing. This one has a good combination of total choss and perfect rock on it.

Tricky weird climbing leads to a hard kneebar crux.

Dante's is one of the longest, most grueling, and most exposed (at the top) climbs on the wall. It features a hard compression crux with a weird mantel, an awkward rest, an above-the-head, ninja, kick kneebar move (think if

Pump-O-Rama's

kneebar was more dynamic), and finishes off with a semi-scary, sharp runout that makes you wonder how big the whipper will really be. This is a prized gem of the 5.13 MINUS crew.
