This line rivals any of the 5.10 trad routes accessed from the Challenge Buttress parking area. Climb past two bolts to a series of three bulges, protected by gear, then make a short traverse left to a good stance and another bolt. Continue straight-up, juking as necessary to get good gear (requires some scrutiny), to chains.

More Than a Feeling

is the best sport route on Disciple Ridge, although it might not look it from the ground. It is well worth the walk. The first 6 or so bolts protect steep but somewhat broken rock into a short right-facing dihedral and a good ledge to the left. Above is a flatish, nearly vertical wall, with another 7 or 8 bolts protecting interesting and unusual climbing to chains.

This starts as a fine short sport climbing pitch on generally good rock then degenerates into a mostly bolted pitch over chossy ground and then a full-trad pitch over similarly broken terrain. upslope. (5.8, 50 feet.) (2) Continue clipping bolts, trending left when it doubt, to another set of chains. (5.6, 80 feet.) (3) We worked back right past a gully system to a steeper crack system that ended in the vicinity of a huge but somewhat sloppy ledge, but the Calderone guide shows the route as climbing the gully system to the top of Disciple Ridge.  In either case, the pitch ends at chain anchors. Route climbs bolt to bolt passing block on right. Crux is the face climbing above block. Thin feet and hidden side pulls make this section! Route shares anchor with Let Her Rip, for now.

The route can be started by climbing straight at the pin or by climbing left facing corner (more secure) to same pin. It then follows a shallow right facing corner passing a roof on the left and then following corner/crack to the top.
