P1: Climb the flake then go up the easy face above to a large overlap. Pass the left side of the overlap and continue up the easy face to a ledge with a pine tree (5.3 PG13, 95 feet).

P2: Climb obvious hand cracks above the pine tree to the top of the formation (5.1, 50 feet).

Walk off skier's right.

Start 10 feet up and left of

S.S. Joshua Tree

at a low horizontal shelf. Starting from the shelf, go up a groove to an obvious overlap about 25 feet up. Pass by the right side of the overlap to gain a vertical seam which is followed to the top (29 meters).

Start 20 feet to the right of

on a ledge above a boulder. Climb past a low bulge to a horizontal crack below an overlap. Continue above the overlap to easy ground. Move left (there are a couple places to get in directionals for the follower) to the communal anchor.

Easy climbing in a shallow right facing corner. After the third bolt head up and right to the anchor. The left anchor bolt was not placed very well and is sticking out about 1/2".

Start at the right edge of the steeper portion of the slab below two 1/4" bolts. Trend up and right past the two bolts to a horizontal. Continue up easier rock to a stance at the base of a vertical crack (small cams). Follow the crack to the top.

The 1/4" bolts are the originals and even if they were replaced, the climb would still be dangerous.

Start about 25 feet right of

Smears of the Past

on a ledge. This spot is about 10 feet to the right of a nolina. Pull a low bulge then go up the unprotected face to easier climbing. On the upper wall, go up past two diagonal cracks to reach a huge chicken head. Continue up above that to the top.

Start seven feet up and left of

at a short, right-trending flake. Go up the flake, aiming for a black knob. Continue up the face above to a large overlap. Pull the overlap at a huge knob. Continue up the easy face above to the top (29 meters).

On the lower left-side of the west face is slabby section with an obvious right leaning crack. To the left of this is a black streak with two small roofs at the bottom - this is the route. Pull the roofs then you're going to have to figure it out. It goes straight up on interesting face moves. The crack to the right and the chimney to the right of that have also been climbed. I'm not responsible for naming this route.

Start about eight feet up and left of

S.S. Friendship

on a ledge. Climb the left arete of the corner and the face to the left of the arete. Once you reach a horizontal about 40 feet up, move right to the communal anchor.

The S.S. Joshua Tree was a supply ship launched in 1944 to support the war effort in the Pacific in WWII.
